Q: What is White Gold?

A: White Gold has been increasing in popularity since the early 1920’s. To obtain white gold, the pure (yellow) gold is alloyed with Palladium, Zinc and Silver to name a few. The finished result, however, is still that of a slightly yellow colour, so to give white gold its brilliance and shine it is coated with rhodium which is extremely hard and acts as a whitener and a brightener. This is standard practice with all white gold. As the rhodium is a coating, it may periodically need to be re rhodium-plated depending on the conditions of wear. Q: Can all of Horner’s rings be sized?

A: All of our rings are different in style and design, this means we are unable to give a generic yes or no to this question as each one is individual. Most of our rings can be sized, and if you pop into our shop, we will be able to tell you exactly what options are available for you. 

Q: Do you post items outside of UK?

A: We offer delivery to all Great Britain and Northern Ireland addresses, but we do not post out of the UK.

Q: What guarantee do I receive with my purchase?

A: We guarantee all our products against manufacturing defects. This warranty will be honoured at our shop. These rights are additional to and do not affect from your statutory rights.

Q: Can I get a written valuation of my purchase for my insurance company?

A:  As a Company, we do offer an in-house valuation service. If you would like your jewellery valued, please call into our shop.

Q: Do you buy gold?

A: Yes we do. Please bring your item into the shop and we will be able to discuss your options further.

Q: What are your accepted Payment Methods?

A: We can accept payment from all major credit and debit cards in the shop as well as payment from Paypal online.

Q: How can I return my purchase for an exchange or refund?

A: We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, in case you are not, we are more than happy to offer you an exchange, credit note or refund on your purchase if it is returned to us within 30 days from receipt providing the item is unworn, in pristine condition, with its original packaging together with all relevant receipts and documentation. Please note for health and hygienic purposes we cannot refund earrings. This offer does not include personalised items or special orders and does not affect your statutory rights.
